Relax to the Max

I am so sorry I haven't posted anything for such a long time! Life is crazy! I have been busy making some new cards and since most of you who peek here from time to time are just wondering what color of Copics I used on the samples at the store, I am just going to make these posts quick with a picture of the card and a picture of the colors I used.
Since I forgot to snap a picture of the Copics I will have to list them. Oops! R20, E00, E33, E37, E29. R32, R35, and of course my favorite W1 for shading.

Thanks for stopping by!

Still here!

I'm still here. I haven't made any cards for a while. I have been working on my daughter's scrapbook that I promised her for college graduation a year ago. It seems once she made the announcement to me in January of 2009 that she planned on joining the Peace Corps, I couldn't work on the book. Well now that she is in Bulgaria, settled in with her new family, spending 4 - 6 hours a day learning their language and teaching English for the rest of the day, I seem to feel a little better about it. I still miss her!!! That won't change until I get to go visit next year! I finally got to talk to her last Sunday, gotta love technology! I got to see her face and hear her voice! She sent me some pictures of life there. I would love to sit and scrap all those new pictures! I have decided that for every 3 or 4 pages of her first book I will do 1 page for the new one! I need to learn how to take better photos! Sorry for the blinding flash! This was from the 8 hours waiting at JFK for the first flight to Germany. I am so glad she found her black and white cookie! I think it was the main reason she wanted to go back to New York! She was there a couple of years ago to take part in a mock U.N.
This is from her going away party. 4 generations! It is almost unheard of in Bulgaria to have a Great Grandmother.

These pictures are also from her going away party. She is with my youngest sister in the top photo. The bottom photo is my youngest sister again with her husband and her twin brother (sorry for flashing out your face Jeff), his wife and their daughter. Megan is the oldest granddaughter in the family and Emily is the youngest.
Thanks for looking. I will try harder at posting! Thanks for your patience!

What can I say?

So, I get a big fat F in the crafting department lately. I'm sitting here staring at all the projects I have started on my desk. Mr. Mojo is gone. I don't know where he went but I hope he returns soon! Maybe if I finish cleaning up in here, her will return? I'll have to give that a try! Have a great day and I hope to have something new to post soon.

Batter Ian

Fun! Fun! Fun! This one was fun to make! I cut the card out using my Pazzles cutter! The card base is cut from white cardstock and the stitching is cut from red cardstock and layered on. I love my Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive! The stamps are from The Greeting Farm. I colored using W1, C3, C5, R29, R59, Y38, E33, E37, B32, B24, R20, E00, and E11 Copics. I really need to remember to take a quick photo of the markers before I put them back in the case. It's much easier to post a picture of them than type them all. I'd better make my self a note or I'll forget again! Have a great day!

Good morning!

Someone has been very happy that the sun finally decided to shine! I'm sad to say that I ditched the cleaning efforts in the house and spent some time out in the sunshine. We finally have spring/summer like weather here in Minnesota. Only in Minnesota can you go from snow to rain to beautiful sunny weather in a week. Maybe after I get myself a nice tan I will go back and finish the cleaning in the scrappy room and post some pictures. Enjoy your day!

Good Morning!

Nothing crafty going on here today. I'm cleaning, organizing, and labeling! The OCD has kicked into hyper-drive! It's probably a good thing. I know there is a big scrap and stamp event going on down at the State Fair Grounds this weekend. It's best that I stay away. I really don't "need" anything else. Hope you have a great weekend! Hopefully I will have pictures of my scrappy area on Monday when it is all tidy!

Holy Cow!

Another cute one from Whipper Snapper! Colored with 100, C5, C3, W3, W1, Y38, and R20 Copics. A little Stickles on the wings and halo. I used the airbrush with Y11 to create the yellow glow around the image. My control with it leaves a little to be desired so I had to take the colorless blender and erase my over spray on the cow. It's all a learning lesson for me! The paper is from the Farm Fresh line by October Afternoon. Have a great day!

Mother's Day Card

This is the card I gave my Mom last year for Mother's Day. It had to cover 2 holidays since I was a bad daughter and didn't send her and Easter card. Shame on me! On the front of the card I used a stamp by Unity, Stampendous, and I'm not sure who made the "see the flowers smiling" one. I think I would have to do some digging to find it again. I haven't reorganized the stamps yet. I'm that is coming soon! The paper is by Basic Grey and I didn't have flowers in the colors I wanted so I Glimmer Misted them and added a gem in the center. The flowers from the stamp are colored with Smooch Inks.
The inside of the card are the Easter stamps I bought and intended on using for Mom's Easter card. They are the Hairy Bunny and Carrot by Judith. Colored with E50, E33, E35, E37, YG07, and YG63 Copics. I cut the carrots out and used pop dots behind them. Then sentiment is from a clear set by Stampendous. Have a great day!

Exciting News!

I won! WhipperSnapper wanted this card! I posted a few cards to their gallery just because I love their stamps so much. The stamp is called Heather. It is colored with E00, E11, R20, Y38, R32, R35, YG41, and W1 Copic Markers. The flowers are done with the Spica glitter pens and I added a little Glossy Accents to the heart on the cup. The paper is Material Girl from Cosmo Cricket and the ribbon is from my stash. It didn't take me long to spend the $10 gift certificate they sent me after they received my card in the mail. I can't wait for the new stamps to get here! Hopefully sometime later this week! Have a great day!

Creative?

I'm not feeling so creative yet, but the OCD has kicked into hyperdrive! I added another 84 shelves to my wall of paper and sorted and organized. I still have a few more stacks to go through. I did a little shopping last week with Megan. She had a few last minute things to pick up before she left and I tend to shop when I am down. Shame on me! New stamps! I hope to start inkng them soon! Have a great day!

I'm back!

I'm back! Things have been so busy around here the last few weeks. We put Megan on her airplane yesterday morning. She made it to Philadelphia yesterday to finish up paperwork and meet the 86 other people that are also going to Bulgaria. She is headed to New York today to fly out to Germany and then Bulgaria. It's an exciting time in her life! These are the party favors she made. Cute little calendars made out of coasters for each of the 27 months she will be gone. She put magnets on the back so we could hang them on the refrigerator! I am going to have to get my passport finished up so I can go and visit! Have a great day!

Busy, busy......

I'm sorry I haven't posted for a few days. Things around here are quite busy. Only 5 days left until we take Megan to the airport. Yesterday she and I finished up the party favors for her going away party on Saturday. I was in charge of the gift bags. I will share her craftiness after the gifts are opened! So much to do yet, and so little time to do it! Have a great day!

Simple Graduation Card

This one is for you Roxy! I didn't have one already made so I whipped one out for you, sorry these were the only graduation stickers I had in my stash today. Super easy and quick! I used this cool corner adorner punch by EK Success, you wouldn't have to, you could just layer your cardstock. I love this punch! It's super easy to use, costs around $10 when it's not on sale, and ads a little to the card. I punched out a circle out of a scrap of silver paper, layered it on a scrap of black punched with a scalloped punch, tucked a scrap of ribbon behind it and put the stickers on. I needed a card for my niece and her school colors are red and white so one more project down!

Snuggle

Another sweet stamp by The Greeting Farm! You can see the markers I used. I used the new deckled ovals to cut her out and layered on a regular oval. I wanted a little bling to put on this card but had nothing that came close to the colors I used, so I found myself a white flower and colored it with the R35 Copic and ta-da, the prefect match! I used a blingy brad in the center and layered it all on some of the new Thrift Shop paper by October Afternoon. Have a great day!

Sheriff Ian

This is Sheriff Ian from The Greeting Farm. I love these kids! So cute and so much fun to color! You can see all the colors I used in the photo, I also colored his badge with gold Smooch Ink. He is cut and layered with Labels 8. I did a little stiching with some maroon colored twine and layered him on some East meets West paper by Moxie. Have a great day!

Bride & Groom

So much going on these days, not much that is crafty though. 12 days left before I have to take my daughter to the airport, maybe when I know she is safe and sound at her destination things will get crafty again here.
The stamp is called "Happy Couple" by Stampendous. I stamped with black pigment and heat embossed with clear powder. I pretty much wanted to keep it black and white. The groom is colored with black Copic marker and the bride is covered in diamond stickles! I also used E00, E33, E35, R20, B24, and BG10 Copics. It is cut and layered with oval and scalloped Nesties. The background is CuttleBugged with Textile Texture. Have a great day!

Crabby!

This cute little crab is from Judith! He is colored with R59, R29, and BG10. I love the look of the inverted scallop circles with him! The paper and ribbon are Cosmo Cricket.
Sorry, for the short posts! Time is very valuable these days. Not too many days until it is time to take Megan to the airport for her adventure in Bulgaria. I will try to post something every day, but no promises at this point in time. Have a great day!

Make it a Grande!

Good morning! Another quick card using Just Rite, just a little caffeine set & borders. Stamped in brown pigment and heat embossed with clear powder on ivory cardstock. I used E33, YG63 and YR02 Copics to color. I cut with circles Nesties and layered on labels one. The paper is from Mr. Campy, Cosmo Cricket. So much to do and still spend some time with Megan before she leaves! Have a great day!

Sweet

Good morning! A little coloring for today. This cute little cupcake came in a set I found somewhere! Sorry, I wish I could remember them all, I got it quite some time ago and when I put it in it's CD case for storage I didn't label it very well. Lesson learned. The sentiment was also part of the set. I used the Divine Swirl Cuttlebug folder behind the cupcake. The papers were from my scrap bin, they are from the DCWV Baby Girl stack. The ribbon was also from my stash. Have a great day!

Enjoy

Good morning! No coloring again today. Things are busy, busy around here getting my daughter ready to head to Bulgaria with the Peace Corps.

This is another from the Just Rite Birthday Wishes set. This time stamped in blue pigment and heat embossed with clear powder. It is cut out with circle Nesties and layered on a petite scalloped circle. The paper is by Basic Grey. Have a great day!

Good morning! These stamps are by Just Rite from the Birthday Wishes & Borders set. It is stamped in hot pink pigment and heat embossed with clear powder. It is cut with circles Nesties and layered on a couple of larger petite scallops. The cherry paper is by October Afternoon and I have to confess, I cheated! The cute little scalloped border is by Bazzill and came pre-cut. Have a great day!

Wild West Anya

I did it! But I goofed too! There was no RV21 used on this card, I used white Smooch Ink on her shirt on this one instead of the light pink. Sorry! I cut her out with Labels Eleven, a new Nestie! I am loving this one! I found some cute pink horseshoe paper at The Pine City Scrapbooking Co. I decided to change up my fold a little this time so I added the red label brad on the side to hold it shut. Have a great day!

Bird Watching

This is a very simple one! I'm not sure I'm really happy with how it turned out but......The stamp is from Cornish Heritage Farms. I stamped it with Rich Cocoa Memento ink on ivory cardstock. Added a little sheer brown ribbon with a knot tied in it and layered it on some paper from my stash. Have a great day!

Superstar Anya

I'm trying something new! Instead of listing the marker colors I thought it would be easier to just upload a picture of the ones I used. It would be easier if this blog thing wasn't smarter than I am. I think I have it figured out now. We'll see if I can do it 2 days in a row?
Superstar Anya is cut out with the petite long ovals. She is layered on some BoBunny concord grape dot and then on some of the new BoBunny, Jazmyne line. I used a Martha Stewart punch on the bottom of the base of the card. Have a great day!
