Dorky Bird

Dorky bird is by Judith. It comes in 3 sizes, this is the big one. I colored it with YR07, Y15, and R29 Copic markers. I had to go over the orange with the yellow several times to get a good blend. The "hey chick" is by Unity. It is layered on Basic Grey papers.

Fishing Boat

I did this one a while ago, before I had my Copic Air Brush. The fishing boat is by Judith. Colored with E33, E37, B24, R29, and E50. It was before my air brush and I wanted blue water and a sunny yellow sky without having to color it. I ended up cutting a piece of blue and yellow paper and glueing them together to stamp on. It didn't turn out so bad. It was a challenge to line up a wood mounted rubber stamp. A little crooked but, it worked. It was also before my Stamp-a-ma-jig. What a wonderful tool! See I told you I was a tool junkie! I didn't have a stamp with the sentiment that I wanted so I cheated and printed it out on the computer. Added a couple of fish hook eyelets, a little white ink on the bobber, layered it on some My Minds Eye paper and called it good.

Birthday Fishes!

The Fishing Chicken is by Whipper Snapper. He is colored with C3, R35, E37, Y11, Y21, YG63, YG67, YG97, and W1 Copic markers. I took my multi liner pen and drew in the fishing line. I stamped, colored, and cut out the fish so I could pop him out with a pop dot. Birthday Fishes is from Papertrey Ink. I used my favorite labels 8 to cut out the image. It is layered on 2 of my favorites, October Afternoon and Cosmo Cricket.

Dog, Cat, & Mouse

Another adorable stamp by Whipper Snapper. I just loved coloring this one with my Copics. I used E50, E33, E37, E35, 100, C1, C3, C5, R20, W3, B00 for the background and E29 to make them furry, and the colorless blender to give the ground a little dimention. To make the fur, take an old piece of terry cloth towel, you only need a small square, wrap it around your finger and color it with something a couple of shades darker than what you used to color your image. Just flick your finger over and around your image!
I folded my card and cut it out with the largest Labels 8, cut the image with a size smaller and layered on.

Friendship Borders & Centers

Another one from Just Rite! This delicious looking cake is colored with Smooch Ink! They are little bottles of pearly goodness! This time I stamped the center and boarder seperately. I cut them out with circle Nesties, and used the petite scalloped circle as the base. The center with the cake is popped up with foam squares. I love those things! I use them all the time. The paper is from my favorite Cosmo Cricket.

Just Rite

This one is from the Thinking of You Borders & Centers. I stamped it with brown pigment and heat embossed it with clear powder on creme cardstock. Just Rite stamps are awesome, once you get used to using them. They take a little trial and error when you first get them. I just love how you can mix and match the centers and borders! It is cut out with oval Nestibilies and layerd on top of a scalloped oval. The papers were some scraps from the scrap bin. There is a tiny white pearl brad in the center of the flower.

Tomorrow I am off to color at:
3M Scrapbooking and Stamping Convention
Date: SATURDAY, MARCH 27, 2010
Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Location: Guardian Angels Church, Oakdale, Minn.
Cost: $5.00

Horse

I made this one for my sister, she is a horse lover! The horse is is by Serendipity Stamps. I bought it at the garage sale at the Pine City Scrapbooking Co. last year. I don't know why anyone would want to sell their stamps! I don't think I will every have enough of them!

The horse is stamped in black pigment and heat embossed with clear powder. Colored with E00, E33, E37 Copic markers, cut and layered with Nestibilities. I used a pink bandana paper as my background, added some barbed wire twill ribbon and a brad.

My cards are simple so I can spend more time coloring!

A Laugh

From another of my favorite stamp companies, Just Rite. If you haven't tried these stamps yet, I suggest you give them a try! I don't recommend the tiny little alphabets, they are hard to work with. You will need to buy a special block for them but then you can just purchase the special grooved rubber stamps to go in them. The sets of rubber are reasonably priced at around $14.99 a set. In the set you usually get 6 centers and 6 coordinating outside rings that can be mixed and matched.
This time I stamped the center seperately and cut it out with Nesties and layered it. Then I stamped the outside, cut and layered again. There isn't much to color on some of these older sets so I used my Smooch Ink. It comes in a bottle like nail polish and you brush on all of it's pearly goodness. I popped up the center and layered it on some Cosmo Cricket paper. I used a punch and some glitter paper for the butterfly.

Outhouse

I made this one a long time ago but it is one of my all time favorites! The stamps are by Judith. I stamped the outhouse with brown pigment and heat embossed it with clear powder. Colored with E33, E35, E37, C3, C1, and YG67. The fly is a Judith stubbie, stamped in black pigment and heat embossed. The toilet paper is also Judith, it is colored with C1, cut and layered with Nestibilities, and a pop dot behind it. I added a few skittles and a little ribbon. The inside reads, "Sometimes life is filled with a lot of crap!"

Something different!

Something a little different today! This was so much fun! I used lots of stamps and lots of ink on this one! All the stamps are by Judith. I started off with a white piece of cardstock, the "sprig" stamp and my ivy green Memento ink. I just stamped away! Then I came back with some of the sticks and stubbies by Judith and some fun colors of ink and added the flowers. Then it was off to stamp and color the cute little puppy on another piece of cardstock, color him with E50, E33, E37, R20, B24, W3 and cut him out. Yes, with scissors. Those of you that know me, know that I hate cutting things out with scissors! I glued him on, used the butterfly and woof stubbies to finish off my little outdoor scene, and ta-da! I layered him on my favorite Cosmo Cricket paper.

Mouse With Flowers

Another cute one from Whipper Snapper! The mouse is colored with C1, C3, and R20. I used BG10 for the shadow. The flowers are colored with Spica glitter pens. It is cute out with the circle Nestibilites and layered on a flower also cut with Nestibilities. I used the EK Success tiny hearts border punch and the "with love" is a a scrap of white wash color core paper run through one of the Cuttlebug embossing folders and then sanded. I added a little Stickles to the flourish and words. I do love glitter!

Flaminkoe Fabulocoe

A pretty pink card! Those of you who know me, know that pink is not my favorite color. It seems to be showing up more and more in the things I do. Maybe I am changing my mind? This is another Whipper Snapper stamp. As always it is stamped in black pigment and heat embossed with clear powder. I just love the look of it! It is colored with Copic markers, colors RV04, Rv06, YR02, YR04 E33, and W1. I colored the ground with E33 and then went back over it with the point of the blender pen, pushing the color away, creating sand. The paper is October Afternoon and the bling and ribbon are from my stash. I added a little Glossy Accents to the beak.

Easter Egg Bunny

One more Easter card! This is Easter Egg Bunny, by Whipper Snapper again! Can you tell how much I love these stamps? Some day I may have them all. Don't tell on me! They are releasing new ones as I post this. I'm going to have to get Marni to order them for me! As you will see I color everything with Copic markers! They are absolutely the best markers on the market! I love how they blend and that you can refill them, although it takes a lot of coloring to empty one. I used colors, E00, E33, R20, Y38, Y21, YG03, and YG67. I used my Chocolate Spica pen for the centers of the flowers. I used Glossy Accents on his nose. The paper is the new Twinkle Twirls, from the Lucy Line of Imaginice.

Another Whipper Snapper, Hooked Worm. Colored with Copics W3, G07, YG67, and R29. I used Glossy Accents on the bobber and on his eyes. A little dab of diamond stickles on the heart. It's kind of hard to tell from this picture but the layer of white under the stamped image is run through the Cuttlebut with the tiny bubbles folder. The paper is by Doodle Bug.

Barrel of Monkeys

I love Whipper Snapper stamps! This one is called Barrel of Monkeys. The image is stamped with black pigment, and heat embossed using ultra fine clear embossing powder. It is colored with Copic markers. The colors that I used were E00, E33, E37, R20, Y15, and the colorless blender to make the ground look like sand. I used W1 to add shadows. I also used a few drops of Glossy Accents on the banana peel. The banana paper is by Reminisce, you can find it at the Pine City Scrapbooking Co. Inc. The inside is stamped with "Bunches of Love For You!" by Judith.

Color With Kris

I am going to give this a try! I have been asked, yet again, to post the pictures of the cards I make somewhere. I made a feeble attempt about a year ago and failed. I am hoping I can stick to it this time. I will attempt to post one a day. No promises.
