Dorky Bird

Dorky bird is by Judith. It comes in 3 sizes, this is the big one. I colored it with YR07, Y15, and R29 Copic markers. I had to go over the orange with the yellow several times to get a good blend. The "hey chick" is by Unity. It is layered on Basic Grey papers.

Fishing Boat

I did this one a while ago, before I had my Copic Air Brush. The fishing boat is by Judith. Colored with E33, E37, B24, R29, and E50. It was before my air brush and I wanted blue water and a sunny yellow sky without having to color it. I ended up cutting a piece of blue and yellow paper and glueing them together to stamp on. It didn't turn out so bad. It was a challenge to line up a wood mounted rubber stamp. A little crooked but, it worked. It was also before my Stamp-a-ma-jig. What a wonderful tool! See I told you I was a tool junkie! I didn't have a stamp with the sentiment that I wanted so I cheated and printed it out on the computer. Added a couple of fish hook eyelets, a little white ink on the bobber, layered it on some My Minds Eye paper and called it good.

Birthday Fishes!

The Fishing Chicken is by Whipper Snapper. He is colored with C3, R35, E37, Y11, Y21, YG63, YG67, YG97, and W1 Copic markers. I took my multi liner pen and drew in the fishing line. I stamped, colored, and cut out the fish so I could pop him out with a pop dot. Birthday Fishes is from Papertrey Ink. I used my favorite labels 8 to cut out the image. It is layered on 2 of my favorites, October Afternoon and Cosmo Cricket.

Dog, Cat, & Mouse

Another adorable stamp by Whipper Snapper. I just loved coloring this one with my Copics. I used E50, E33, E37, E35, 100, C1, C3, C5, R20, W3, B00 for the background and E29 to make them furry, and the colorless blender to give the ground a little dimention. To make the fur, take an old piece of terry cloth towel, you only need a small square, wrap it around your finger and color it with something a couple of shades darker than what you used to color your image. Just flick your finger over and around your image!
I folded my card and cut it out with the largest Labels 8, cut the image with a size smaller and layered on.

Friendship Borders & Centers

Another one from Just Rite! This delicious looking cake is colored with Smooch Ink! They are little bottles of pearly goodness! This time I stamped the center and boarder seperately. I cut them out with circle Nesties, and used the petite scalloped circle as the base. The center with the cake is popped up with foam squares. I love those things! I use them all the time. The paper is from my favorite Cosmo Cricket.

Just Rite

This one is from the Thinking of You Borders & Centers. I stamped it with brown pigment and heat embossed it with clear powder on creme cardstock. Just Rite stamps are awesome, once you get used to using them. They take a little trial and error when you first get them. I just love how you can mix and match the centers and borders! It is cut out with oval Nestibilies and layerd on top of a scalloped oval. The papers were some scraps from the scrap bin. There is a tiny white pearl brad in the center of the flower.

Tomorrow I am off to color at:

Date: SATURDAY, MARCH 27, 2010
Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Horse

I made this one for my sister, she is a horse lover! The horse is is by Serendipity Stamps. I bought it at the garage sale at the Pine City Scrapbooking Co. last year. I don't know why anyone would want to sell their stamps! I don't think I will every have enough of them!

The horse is stamped in black pigment and heat embossed with clear powder. Colored with E00, E33, E37 Copic markers, cut and layered with Nestibilities. I used a pink bandana paper as my background, added some barbed wire twill ribbon and a brad.

My cards are simple so I can spend more time coloring!
